Car is moderately rough, currently not drivable due to mechanicals.

I am the 3rd owner. Car was tarped, garaged and unattended for the last 18 years. Needs major engine work, body not too bad but some rust through on door bottoms and sill bottoms. Remainder of the body is solid.

Oct 2012 - Just beginning to restore car. Engine/Gearbox is out & being rebuilt. Interior is out and will be replaced. Floors & inner sills are good, outer sills, lower quarters & front of foot wells need replaced . Trunk floor, space frame & firewall are solid. Chrome is lightly pitted and glass is clear. Making a rotisserie now to address bottom side.

Metalwork is beginning. New floors, sills and boot floor. Lots of work to do.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
