Ebay item 12/9/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-1967-Jaguar-XKE_W0QQitemZ270194885863
Current bid $4,750 reserve not met, 12 bids, 5 days left in auction. 26k miles.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Auto Coupe 2+2 Red / Black Leather Interior. The car is a 1967 Series1 car with the uncovered headlights but you can buy Covered headlights and change them for that classic Jaguar look. It has a Series 2 Bonnet. This car came from Texas and was originally from New Hampshire and has been owned by the same person since 2003. This is a 2 Owner car. This car has not been restored. The Series 1 are the most sought after and are drying up. The car ID# is as follows: Chassis No: 1E 76657BW2 Engine No: 7E52152-9 The car has a Clear Texas Title (Good for Export). The car runs and drives. It is very complete and needs some minor TLC. This Jaguar needs a couple of things. The car needs some minor body work. The car needs to be painted in some places. There was some rust in the passenger side door but we replaced it with a new door. We replaced the Floor pans and they are brand new Jaguar XKE replacement pans. The Interior is in really good shape and needs some new carpet and has a couple of minor flaws. The Seats are brand new Leather replacements. The car runs and drives but there is a small leak in the radiator and will need to be redone or replace. The head matches the ID Plate. The car comes with all the chrome that is in really nice shape. This car is a great example of a very nice driver.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
