I was into hot rods as a teenager and the car bug has never left me. Have a 53' MG TD that I restored over a 10 year span but as it was finished and I quite motorcycles, I wanted a new dream. In May of 2010 I bought what I've wanted since 1962 and the 67' e-type joined the MG in the garage. After a couple of trips to the Jag Doctor and much time in my hot garage, the E runs like a watch and is a joy to drive. The original paint looks very good after much elbow greese and good wax. an excellent example of an original 1967 Jaguar XKE Series 1 2+2 Coupe 4.2Litre with 22,642 original miles. Matching numbers.
I have owned this car for over 10 years (second owner) as a driver. Paint is original and is faded/thin. Original leather upholstery. There are a few small scratches and minor pings that have occurred during the years. Rear window chrome is included with the car. It has always been garaged. This Jaguar runs great, the engine is strong and is easy to drive. The engine idles great and oil pressure stays high. New engine hoses. This car has new tires and Dunlap wire wheels. The rear brakes have a new Stainless system (Stainless Steel Brake Corporation). This car is missing the original radio and has a new radio under the passenger dash. This Jaguar is located in the Kansas City area, zip 64068.

When the first E's came out I was 22, just out of the Air Force and too poor to have one. Now I'm in my 70,s and finally have my dream car.

I bought the car in April 2010 and it shares the garage with an 53 MG TD. Love the Etype and am keeping it original, with some upgrades as it's a driver.

The Jag now has a Retro Air AC, new alum radiator, big fan, new brake boster, new ingnition total, SS headers and big bore exhaust and more sweat and polish than I thought possible. She looks great and runs like a bandit.
