Ebay item 5/22/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $24,000 Canadian dollars, reserve not met, no bids, 4 days left in auction. US LHD car converted to RHD in UK, then imported from UK to Canada.
Sellers description:
This car, which is a UK import, has been in my possession for the last 7 years. During this time it has proved an extremely reliable form of daily transport. It was converted from an ex-Texas car and fully restored shortly before I bought it. Since then its external appearance has been carefully maintained and mechanical work been performed as necessary. The car is to full UK specification which means triple SU carburetors and Right Hand Drive. It comes with a very an extensive documented history and a heritage certificate (all numbers match). It is finished in Jaguar racing green and has a good tan leather interior. It is garaged at my home on Vancouver Island.

Further info from the ebay ad: In my opinion, the car's overall condition is 7/10. The defects are: 1) actual milage is unknown, 2) speedometer is disconnected & 3) it has minor surface rust on the rear underside.

Hi, I'm wondering about the heated rear screen, definitely looks like an aftermarket item. I though almost all US 2+2's were fitted with the factory heated rear screen, it is almost unnoticeable very thin wires laminated inbetween the glass, perhaps it stopped working or for some reason they fitted a non-heated screen during restoration? But why install that less elegant system then? The original type is available even now.
