Current bid $10,101 reserve not met, 10 bids 5 days left in auction. buy it now price $20,000. Car now said to be in McAllen, Texas.

    Sellers description:
Great car , i bought this jag about 6 months ago and have been working on it in my shop detailing it non stop, i'm talking hood off, carbs off, completely disassemble under the hood and clean and paint, disassemble radiator, seats out new parts as needed, such as tires, hoses, battery, etc etc over 500 hours. i was determined to take it to the jcna nationals in san antonio but the car was not ready, this is not a show car but it is a really nice example, i wish that it was the coupe but then i couldn't get in and out of it and it would cost 10,000 more dollars, it is the 2+2 and it is a late series 1 with everything that you could want except the covered headlights, the car was originally khaki tan but had been painted burgandy and it could stand to be repainted but it gets a lot of compliments as is, i call it a 10 footer, the car is extremely complete and original with the old stereo and extremely nice recent bartlett complete leather interior, big money, it is beautiful under the hood and runs great, the clutch and brakes and locks and gauges etc all work, this is a well kept jag that has never been a junker, it has had some minor rust in the bonnet and quarters but no panels have been replaced, the floors are all original and fine, the chrome is to the point that it should be redone but again looks great from 10 feet, 2nd gear is a little crunchy so it probably needs a synchro but THIS IS A VERY NICE JAG XKE it should bring 20,000 or more but this is ebay and everyone wants to steal everything on here.

Previous auction ended at $10,300 after 25 bids.
