This 1967 Jaguar XKE 2+2 coupe was originally distributed by Jaguar of Eastern Canada in Montreal, Quebec. In 1973 the car reportedly was acquired by the second owner, who stored it from approximately 1980 until the seller’s acquisition in November 2019. The bodywork is finished in green, with brown primer covering areas that have been stripped. Much of the Suede Green leather interior is present, although the carpeting is damaged and the floors are rusted. The numbers-matching 4.2-liter inline-six is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. This XKE Series I project was last registered and plated in 1979 and is now offered with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, factory literature, some removed components, and current Quebec registration in the seller’s name.

The JDHT certificate indicates that the car was delivered new with British Racing Green paintwork. The rear of the car still wears some green paint, although much of the front and sides have been coated in brown primer. The front and rear bumpers are present along with the window trim. Rust is reported in the doors, and each panel of the car.

15″ wire wheels wear two-ear Jaguar knockoffs and are mounted with Michelin tires. A matching spare wheel with a whitewall tire is included.

Per the JDHT certificate the interior was trimmed in Suede Green by the factory. Individual front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench are installed, and the leather upholstery shows stains and wear. The carpeting is torn and partially pulled up, and the seller states that rust is present in the floorboards. The door panels and dashboard cover show cracks, and the console exhibits mold damage. A Blaupunkt AM radio is fitted in the center stack.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel with the Jaguar crest sits in front of a black dashboard with factory Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and centrally located auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just under 47k miles.

The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with triple SU carburetors and is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. The engine is believed to have been last started around 1980, and the car has been sitting since then.

The fuel tank has been removed. A number of removed components will accompany the sale, including the fuel tank.

The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate shows the car’s built date, original color scheme, and serial numbers. The chassis, engine, and body numbers shown in the gallery below match the numbers on the JDHT certificate and on the car’s data plate, although the serial number on the cylinder head is not matching.
