Restoration project

A classic Series 1 Etype 2+2 coupe . The car is a numbers matching vehicle.

According to XKEdata Series 1 numbers are 1E75001 to 1E77644 (2,644 units) and this cars VIN is 1E77479. 

It has the triple carbs, toggle switches and lights above the rear bumper. It does not have covered headlights.

It runs and drives great. I have recently completed some upgrades and refresh work in the shop.

The reservoir tank had a leak (not the hose as first thought) which has been repaired but not installed. I ordered a brand new tank which has been installed. 

The triple carbs have been rebuilt with new kits and then tuned.

Alternator removed and rebuilt then reinstalled 

All fluids flushed and changed. Brakes are great. The oil was drained overnight and filled with top quality race oil along with a new filter.

Cylinder Compression numbers are 130,135,130,140,140,140. 

The tires are almost new and the chrome wires are in great condition. 3 extra wire wheels...8 in total

All the glass is good and the trim is great to good. There is rust which will need metal work. Body is fair.  Photos available.

New coolant expansion tank now fitted

Originally Opalescent blue with blue leather interior which needs replacing along with carpet. Mileage reads 52368. ??

There are some spares that will come with the car. The car comes with 2 new rocker panels and 2 new rear arch pieces to replace rusted panels. These were sourced from England.

Clear title in hand.
