1968 Jaguar XKE, E type, series 1.5, with 350/350 chevy drivetrain, the conversion was done a long time ago by the previous owner, and it has a Bureau of automobile repair tag on a door jam,the body is good, Mallory ignition system, new or at least not used starter and alternator, mileage is unknown as it has the chevrolet drivetrain, I just came up with 185000 as is needed in ebay for auction purposes, but i believe is a lot less than that; it hasn't been repainted in at least 25 years,and so the paint is peeling and cracking, these cars are notorious for rust, this one has some small bubbles here and there, nothing major, the rain gutters and trunk are in very good shape, rockers are decent, the floors are good except for some repair below the battery (very front corner of left front floor board) the other floors seem fine; the interior ia also decent with good front and back seats, good door panels, ok carpet, no headliner; I've bought the car in 2000, stored it inside in 2003 untill 3 months ago when I lost the storage; the car runs, drives, stops and moves under its own power but needs RESTORATION!, or it will be great for vintage races too, the front windshield is busted but a brand new $650.00 dollars replacement from XKE unlimited comes with the car, the rest of the glass is good The California title is clean NOT SALVAGE.
