The car with chassis no. 1E79200 is one of 1,577 examples of E-Type 4.2 2 + 2 and was produced in July 1968. It is therefore one of the so-called high-quality 1 ½ series. Destined for the American market, it was shipped to the United States in August 1968 to the Jaguar dealer in New York. The car has undergone a thorough restoration, both mechanical and bodywork, with the latter bare and repainted with the correct "Pale Primrose Yellow" shade, the interior restored in the original black leather while the engine was completely redone and rectified. The engine is the correct type with the Stromberg carburetors adopted on the American models, but it is not matching with the chassis. The car comes with the Jaguar Heritage certificate.
