This is a 1969 XKE Jaguar convertible. It has been in hibernation for 37 years in a barn on a farm in San Diego with low original mileage on a California pink slip title. The car is an original California 2 owner car with the last one owning since 1979. The car has matching numbers verified and is a no accident and no rust car. I have carefully brought this classic
car back to life. The engine was carefully rocked back to life with miracle oil and patience. The entire fuel system
was addressed including a new fuel tank and sending unit. The brake system being the most important system was
replaced with new calipers and lines and reservoirs and master cylinders and brake booster. The engine, after oil change and plugs had the carbs completely rebuilt including jets. Compression was measured at 55 to 60 lbs in all cylinders. The cooling system had new thermostat and complete radiator core rebuild. All cooling system hoses and fuel hoses and clamps were replace. Rims were upgraded to the 6inch style with modern radial tires. Over $13,500. in receipts recently. Original color was light blue and was changed by the second owner to Primrose. Everything was painted accept frame rails. Interior is vinyl and could be updated. Paint is a 7 on scale with nice condition having small chips and scratches as expected. Car runs smooth thru all gears with new clutch master and slave cylinders.
This is a driver car that could be brought to the next level or just enjoyed as is for years to come.
