1969 Jaguar XKE Matching numbers series 2 E type, 4.2 Liter With Heritage Certificate
This Jaguar is in excellent condition. Engine is strong and runs great, the transmission shifts smoothly and the carburetors were professionally rebuilt by Island Automotion ( Victoria, BC) in 2019. This E type has been in the same family since 1976, the frame off body work was completed in 1994 and the car then went into storage untill 2015. Since being awoken from storage, it has been driven less than 4,000 Miles. The paint chrome and mechanicals are all in good condition. Since 2015 the car has received: A new fuel tank and sender, new stainless steel exhaust pipes, new distributor, and plug wires, An updated radiator and cooling fans (Cool Cats model).Electronic ignition and an updated coil. In 2020 Classic air was installed and works great.. Also new Michelin tires were installed and have less than 200 miles on them. The upper and lower ball joints were repacked with new assemblies and the tie rods were replaced. Additionally, all hoses have been replaced and a new exhast manifold was installed. The interior is excellent with no rips or tears, all gauges and electricals are in working order Except the horn and the new parts to correct that are included with the car. Also Includes the original tool kit . A new Blaupunkt Radio and speakers were installed when the AC went in. All of the original brackets, parts and radio console come with the car if a purest wants to remove the AC and go back to original. All the maintenace records back to 1976 are with the car. Current miles on the car is 50593. Other than the horn the car needs nothing but a new owner.
