1970 Jaguar E-Type: Restoration in 2009 includes mechanical - complete brake system / calipers, rotors, steel lines, master cylinder and booster. Suspension components included new bushings, shocks, and sway bars. Fuel system included re-manufactured tank, new fuel sending unit, and fuel pump. Also included were all new steel fuel lines. Complete re-manufactured engine, transmission, and rear transaxle. All drivetrain mounts are new. New clutch pressure plate and release bearing. Every wiring harness on this vehicle has been replaced with new factory harnesses. Body restoration included complete disassembly, soda blasting, and painted British Racing Green with Glasurit base coat clear coat system. Razor sharp body with no imperfections. Every lamp on body was replaced new. All new chrome trim including bumpers. All new latches and door strikers. Convertible top was replaced with new tan canvas including new boot and boot cover. Top frame was soda blasted, reconditioned and repainted black. All top chrome latches were replaced. Extensive interior restoration including gutting of interior, installation of sound deadening pads on floor and fire wall, installation of new jute backing and carpet. Seats were stripped, all seat frames were reconditioned and repainted, new covers and padding were installed. All interior trim including door and quarter trim were replaced. Wooden steering wheel was replaced with correct factory type. All gauges were with reconditioned or replaced. Dash pad is new. Windshield and all chrome mouldings were replaced. All body weatherstripping and gaskets are new. This vehicle is complete factory with only 2 exceptions: radiator was replaced with upgraded heavy duty aluminum type with powerful Japanese electric cooling fans; carbuerators were replaced with a triple weber conversion. Included with the sale of this vehicle is a set of triple SU carbuerators with manifold which have been professionally re-manufactured and are ready for use if preferred over the weber conversion.

1970 jaguar e type 2010 full restoration......body stripped and painted to a razor sharp flawless base coat clear coat glasurit finish....all underside steering and suspension as well as brakes all overhauled....new bushings, bearings and every mount that was replaceable was replaced.....engine and trans were also overhauled.......interior and top were also completely replaced.......this vehicle is real show quality and was real straight and rust free when i started!......this jewell will turn more heads than a fine looking woman!.......all weatherstripps and chrome is new including bumpers....new tires and refurbished wire wheels....all original except aluminum radiator ,heavy duty cooling fans,and weber triple carbs........i have the original carbs,radiator and fans..........i also have triple su carbs that were professonally rebuilt and hand polished including the su intake manifold.........a great garage ornament and sunday driving pussycat!
