Listed for sale at www.specialitycars.com - "New to our showroom is this 1970 Jaguar XKE II two door roadster with red exterior paint and a black interior. This vintage sports car features a 4.2L engine under the hood with a 4 speed manual transmission and it is in near perfect mechanical condition as well. The current owner has recently installed a new clutch, overhauled the wiring and gave it a full tune-up, so it drives excellent and really turns heads. The family that's owned this 1970 Jaguar XKE II are Jaguar collectors and they have always had this one serviced by professionals. This gorgeous roadster is one of the nicest pure drivers we've come across in this model for quite some time, plus the paint and interior are both above the typical driver standard. It feel great out on the open road and it doesn't need anything to be enjoyed right away. Cosmetically, there are a few minor blemishes in the paint that are barely noticeable to the untrained eye. The current owner has a gorgeous wood-grain dash installed, but he will also include the original dash plate plus the original hubs (after market wheels are currently installed). Additionally the rest of the interior appears to be in very good condition as does the body, the trunk, and the engine compartment. The 1970 Jaguar XKE II before you today is in exceptional condition and it would make an outstanding addition to any collection. With the collect-ability of these beauties steadily on the rise, now is the perfect time to park it in your garage." Asking price is $54,900.
