    Ebay item 11/21/14
    www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-SERIES-TWO-4-2-LITER-ROADSTER-1970-jaguar-e-type- ...
Car has a buy it now price of $54,900 for 20 days.

    Sellers description:
1970 JAGUAR E-TYPE XKE SERIES TWO 4.2 LITER ROADSTER. RED WITH BLACK TRIM, TOP, TOP BOOT, AND TONNEAU. 4-SPEED. CHROME WIRE WHEELS. 88,000 ORIGINAL MILES. TWO-OWNER, BLUE/YELLOW LICENSE PLATE, SOUTHERN CA CAR FROM NEW. MATCHING NUMBERS. EXCELLENT.

KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS proudly offers for sale this very nice Jaguar E-type Roadster. This car was recently purchased from it's longtime second owner, a local doctor, who purchased the car in 1971 ! It has been under his careful stewardship nearly from new. It still retains it's 2 original issued blue and yellow California license plates.
The car received only one repaint in it's attractive red color over the original Sable Brown. The sofftop has been replaced at one time, but the rest of the car is completely original, with an excellent untouched, well-preserved interior with a genuine feel to it. The body displays excellent fit and finish, with factory-correct gaps all the way around, totally rustfree and accident-free.
It is mechanically superb with perfect compression and oil pressure, no smoke on start up or unfamiliar noises. It is an exceptionally good driving car in every way, and starts instantly on the turn of the key. A recent service has just been completed.
This car is sold with it's original top boot, lifting jack with bag, tonneau and bag, wheel changing equipment, sales literature, operating handbook, service records, and a clear California title. A very nice preserved, completely honest, and well-taken-care-of car for all of it's life. This car would be very difficult to replace...
Please call or email for additional information.
This car is located in Southern California and can be viewed by appointment. $54,900.

I am French and I live in South Brittany. I bought the XKE 1R11489 in 2015 from a seller in Europe, the car was from an owner in California. Healthy car that has benefited from a small restoration in Europe. I drove this XKE with pleasure, but in 2019/2020 I had the engine completely redone by English mechanics following a loss of oil pressure. I would like to be able to contact the previous owner in California who had registered the car on this site. To get information on when he owned the car. Thank you
