Ebay item 2/20/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-Jaguar-E-Type-Series-II-Roadster-/110828657873
Current bid $13,500, no reserve 4 bids 9 days left in auction. 68k miles.

Sellers description:
I aquired this car from an estate with little or no information. The car was in the process of being restored when I bought the Jaquar. The car was housed in a heated garage for about 15 years. The car has no rust and is very clean, all we did was to clean up the restoration dirt and dust. This is a numbers matching car and with a clear title. Key Number AE1200-D1530/Chassis Nr. 1R11753/Gear Box Nr. KE10612/Engine Nr. 7R9592-9/Manufacture Date: 12/69

As you can see alot of work has already gone into the car. With close evaluation the car is close to being ready for paint, at present it is in primer. If you want to make this Jaguar a great number 4 car I would say you would have to:

Paint color of your choice (I beleive the orginal color was Black)
Should redo the crome
Needs new wiring harness
Needs new interior
Tires are good
Car comes with a new Black Top
Needs new rubber and molding
Car comes with several new parts shown in the parts picture
Needs someone with the know how to put the car back together
Comes with the manuals shown in the picture

My loss is your gain, I have had the car two years in a heated storage facility. I restore alot of cars and my intent was to complete the Jaguar.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
