I owned this car from 1975-1977. Was the third owner having bought it in Pittsburgh. The interior was originally tan. It also did not have the spinner knockoffs. Everything else looks exactly like my photos from 1975.

Current bid US $25,000 eserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania. 49k miles.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster
This Jaguar is a Green Pistachio factory color with Black leather Interior. The engine starts and runs strong, and the 4 speed transmission shifts very nicely.
The car has 49,000 original miles. The foundation of this car as far as the engine, transmission , brakes, are all in good running order.
The existing condition is from an older restoration, and the car will need driver side rockers, both front floors , and patch work on the rear floor as well.
Engine oil pressure is 60 lbs, does not smoke and runs quiet. There has been recent repair work done to the heater core, front fans, window washer motor.
All the chrome is in excellent condition.
With some TLC this will be great driver now, and if you choose, a great candidate for restoration..

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
