This 1970 example of the S2 Roadster was originally supplied to Jaguar Cars USA in January 1970 and then to a Texas owner. It was re-imported to the UK in 1988, when it was converted to RHD and UK specification by Hexagon, being completed in 1989. Since that conversion, the car has had just two owners and was acquired by the second of those, the vendor, in 1999.

Finished in the classic combination of Primrose yellow with black leather interior and hood, the car has the European specification, triple SU set-up and sits on chrome wire wheels. The car is described as being in good to very good condition overall and is offered with an excellent history file.

Estimate £24,000-28,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
