Ebay item 5/23/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-1969-Jaguar-XKE-Series-2-Project-/281344 ...
Current bid $7,500, no reserve 12 bids 5 days left in auction. 30k miles.
Sellers description:
What is left of a 1969 XKE Series 1 Roadster. This was a perfect low mile, damage, rust free car that was used for a custom fabricated race car project. What is for sale is pictured, please look carefully at all the pics, everything pictured is included, nothing more, nothing less. I have no title for the car, the body number is all that is present. I am not a Jag expert so I am guessing on the year. The rear of the car was covered in mold material that was mostly removed for the pictures. There is more to remove but I can assure you that you are looking at one virgin rust free body. A great doner for a severly rusted or damaged car. Or a great start for your own project. Or simple a cool piece of art to mount on your wall. I will happily provide a bill of sale, but I am considering this a pile of parts. My reserve is based upon what I see as the value of the parts. Cheers
This Jag has always resided in New Mexico until its recent trip to Northern California.
