This example is of a longtime owner Series II XKE.I have extensive service history on the mechanics of the car. The tickets include regular maintainence as well as an engine rebuild, transmission rebuild and a recent clutch replacement. The car drives as one would expect with service history as this car has. The car runs very strong and tight with no smoke on startup or acceleration. The transmission and clutch feel tight and accurate. The paint cosmetics are not so good, the paint is old with an obvious bright and shiny finish but the paint has chips and flaws on nearly every panel. The car makes a great and beautiful driver but will not win the concourse. The dash and instrumentation are in excellent condition, dash is straight without cracks, instrumentation is clean and in good working order. The electronics work properly on the car.This is a great entry level open top car that a person can enjoy and be proud of in its current state.
