1970 e-type roadster complete restoration in 2006 with 36000 original miles and an additional 2000 since restoration.This car was garaged since 1975 and was purchased by me the third owner in 2002.The four year restoration process includes the following. Engine complete rebuild ,carbs, new clutch,wiper motor, fan motors, radiator cleaned out, new stainless steel exhaust,new wheels and tires,brakes,and cylinders. Body restoration(no rust) brought down to metal and original red paint,all chrome replaced or rechromed,new top and boot cover, Interior new leather interior complete seats panels new carpet.new wooden original wheel. All gauges are functioning and the car drives beautifully.I would advise any buyer to drive the car home rather than ship it.Its only flaw is some bubbling of paint on the bonnet which was due to prep not rust, this car has no rust.This car is in better than excellent condition.

This car was in a friends garage since 1975,it had been painted and was put away with a burnt engine. The car has been completely renovated and brought back to its original jag. red color. The mechanicals have been completely gone over the engine rebuilt as well as brakes and suspension. This is a matching numbers car with 6k miles since it's renovation. New items list front susp.,wheels tires,shocks, top, interior (english leather), paint, brakes, clutch, s.s. exhaust, engine pistons sleevs, carbs (rebuilt) wiper motor, fans, radiator core flushed, altenator rewired, all chrome redone or replaced. the paint is aprox 5 years old and looks very good there is one spot (tried to show on pics) where there is some bubbling but not rust. this is a rust free car. Purchased from a doctor who was restoring it and needed cash for another project. I took it over. New timing chains, paint about 8 years ago darker red ( which I prefer than the orang red), new interior and top then. I had carburators and brakes fully rebuilt, suspension bushings , shocks work, seals and axles bearings replaced, steering rack, some gauges and some other electrical items repaired. Chrome good, interior and pant presents well, chrome good, newer stainless exhaust. restored to good driver level, not full show but reliable and engine has 148-150 PSI all cylinders and just purrs. This is a very collectable investment car, value going up, average retial mid 50's now, so a value at my price as I ewant to finish another car too and thinning my modest collection. All my work by Ragtops & Roadsters English car restoration shop and first rate, Over $8,000 spent by me and by even more by the doctor who started restoration so about $20,000 invested to get it back to great condition.
