Ebay item 4/6/10 s832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/logan4502/1970%20E-Type%20Series%20II%20OTS%20 ... I have included this number of photographs to document the exemplary condition of the car so any potential new owner is able to, at the outset, gain an appreciation as to the quality/originality of this car. I have looked at many E-Types via photographs or in person claiming to be "restored" to "original" condition or "correctly". However, upon even a casual inspection, the car has many flaws as it relates to originality/authenticity, not to mention obvious cosmetic issues. I will be happy to provide more detailed pictures on request and certainly invite an actual in person inspection by the potential new owner or their agent. Needless to say, the beauty and condition of this E-Type is a head turner whenever and wherever it is seen. It is the focus of interest, admiration and envy regardless of what venue it is driven or displayed. Although the incredible condition of this E-Type would qualify it as a "trailer queen", as any Jaguar fan or afficianado knows, the beauty is in the driving and this car is meant to be driven as well as displayed. It's condition and originality places this car at concours level and easily allows for competition in Championship Class if one chooses. It is a multiple award winner in many local and regional shows with shelves of trophies, plaques, ribbons etc., attesting to its outstanding beauty, condition and originality. Following is a list of items any interested party will need to know while considering this car: * Do not have a Tool Kit. Since this is not judged in Championship Class for late Series II's. I never bothered to collect the tools, although they are available. It does, of course, have the original Thor hammer, knock off tool and complete Jack, which has been restored. * There were two small "nicks" in the paint at the edge of the cowl due to opening and closing the bonnet over the years. These have been repaired and are imperceptible to the casual observer. * Requires several more Cheney clamps to complete the correct clamp inventory. * The original clock was refurbished in 1993 but stopped working in 2004. * There are a couple of imperfections in the underside of the chrome of the clasping hook at the seat belt ends. * The radio is period correct for the car and works, but the volume control is tempermental. * The car has the original "dealer option/installed" luggage rack, which while beautiful, may affect point scoring in sanctioned Championship judging. * The tires are factory spec correct Dunlop SP Sport VR 185x15. * The car will come with many extra maintenance items such as bulbs, filters, etc. as well as the following: * An extra tan Sun-Fast convertible top (hood) Currently has the correct black British Everflex vinyl convertible top installed. * An extra tan Sun-Fast convertible top cover. Currently has the correct black British Everflex vinyl top cover on the car. * A signature E. Narobi sport steering wheel. Currently has the original, restored steering wheel installed. * An original factory tonneau cover * Car cover. If you desire to own a cosmetically beautiful and mechanically reliable concours level E-Type, properly and professionally restored in accordance with well recognized parameters of originality/authenticity, this is a car you will want to seriously consider. You will have an opportunity to own and drive one of the greatest sports cars ever produced. It is difficult for me to part with this car, but I hope the potential new owner will have the same appreciation and sense of care for this incredible marque, as I have had over the past 21 years.

This car changed hands in April 2010 and was moved to Colorado. Extensive additional work was done (mechanical and cosmetic) to bring it to is full potential. Thanks to the previous owner and my local Jaguar restoration shop (Jaguar of Denver) - she is an amazing jewel - and off the market.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
