Bare metal restoration. No expense spared. Full history and all receipts for $120000.00 Australian spent. Reliable club car.Full stainless exhaust. Restored in Europe and shipped to Australia.
Fitted with the legendary 4.2 litre straight six engine with triple SU carburettors and the desireable four speed manual gearbox this is THE car that set the benchmark for classic sports cars.
Restored to a high standard from a rust free bare shell in England over a 3 year period completed in 1998. This E Type has had a complete nut and bolt restoration.
Fully rewired.
New clutch assembly.
Engine and gearbox overhauled.
New seals.
Instruments rebuilt.
Full stainless exhaust system with competition coated headers,
Polished rear mufflers and tailpipes.
New windscreen.
New Avon factory specification tyres.
Genuine 72 spoke wire wheels including the spare with knock offs.
Brakes have been completely overhauled and new brake fluid replaced in whole system. Handbrake works great.

A Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate confirms that the engine and gearbox are the original ones (matching numbers in other words). The history file fills a large ring binder -- its about 50mm thick and contains every receipt and detail of the restoration. There is NO rust in the car at all. Everything works as it should. Major triple SU overhaul, adjustment and tune up completed in July 2008. This E Type is ready to go!!!!!
