was behind you going south on rural last week. Unfortunately was in the jeep versus
my 67 BRG OTS roadster. Must get together to compare notes, info and share a can of 30 weight sometime.

This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that is finished in green over a matching interior and has been with its current owner in Arizona since 1995. Power is from a numbers-matching 4.2-liter inline-six backed by a four-speed manual transmission, and the car features chrome knock-off wire wheels as well as a black soft top. Service in 2018 included a tune-up, cooling system work, and replacement of the drivetrain mounts. This E-Type is offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, spare parts, service records from 2011-present, and a clean Arizona title in the owner’s name.
The car was delivered from the factory in British Racing Green, and is said to wear an older repaint. Scrapes below the front opening are visible.
Chrome wire wheels are fixed with two-eared knock-off nuts and wear 195/65R15 Nexen CP641 all-season tires with 2013 date codes.
Bucket seats with headrests are trimmed in green upholstery and equipped with lap belts, while lighter green carpets line the floors. New floor pans were fitted in 2010.
A cassette deck was sourced from a later Jaguar and is mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, 28k of which have been driven by the current owner in 25 years. Actual mileage is unknown.
The numbers-matching 4.2-liter inline-six features twin Stromberg carburetors and ribbed cam covers, and produced 246 horsepower with 263 lb-ft of torque when new. Service records show a tune-up, replacement of the alternator, and a cooling system overhaul in 2018.
A four-speed manual gearbox routes power to the rear wheels. A new clutch master cylinder was fitted in 2013, and the transmission mounts were replaced in 2018 along with the exhaust system gaskets and hangers.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists partial production details. Chassis 1R13609 is stamped on the front frame member, data plates, and door tag, while engine number 7R12573-9 can be found on the data plates and engine block. Spare parts and tools are included in the sale.
