Presented here is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive Series 2 4.2-Litre Roadster fitted with a manual gearbox, first-registered on 12th February 1970 and on offer from seven years of private ownership.
During 2018 and 2019, the car was subject to a bare-metal respray in a particularly rich shade of silver and new chrome bumpers were fitted at the same time. The interior was fully retrimmed in black leather and a new black mohair hood added to the effect as did the refurbished chrome wire wheels.
There is a good history file with the Jaguar, detailing the aforementioned work and containing further invoices for servicing and maintenance since 1985, details of an engine rebuild in 2006 and the usual older MOTs and the V5C.
This is a presentable, honest and usable example offered at a competitive guide. We welcome and encourage your inspection at Sywell Aerodrome in May to look at this classic Series 2 in more detail and fully appreciate the quality on offer.
