Car to be at auction 7/14
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:
Lot 353 - 1970 Jaguar E Type Series II 4.2 Roadster
Estimate: £78,000 - £90,000
Registration Number: JRA 611H
Chassis Number: 1R1584

This fabulous example in Primrose Yellow with black interior was purchased in 2000 from the renowned E Type specialist "Eagle". The car has only done about 2000 miles since this date. This E Type is in absolutely wonderful condition throughout and comes with its original log book and operating handbook. The paintwork and interior are exemplary and the car is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.

With E Type prices reaching new highs almost on a monthly basis, the Series 2 Roadster represents excellent value for money. The improved performance over its earlier Series 1 sibling, offers a package which will surely push desirability and prices onward and upwards. This lovely example of the iconic British Sportscar is surely one not to be missed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
