Finished in red with black leather upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in "excellent overall condition". Reportedly treated to a "full restoration 4-5 years ago" during which it had "new panels fitted as required" before being resprayed in its original red, work also included the installation of a new wiring loom, chromework, refurbished interior and fresh soft-top. While mechanically, the roadster had its "engine removed and completely rebuilt" etc. Benefiting from a stainless steel exhaust, it is said to "drive exceptionally well", being "very quiet" and possessing a "taut gearbox". Although, pictured on steel wheels shod with chrome hubcaps, we are informed that the car will be wearing chrome wire wheels by the time of sale. Worthy of close examination, this "genuine right-hand drive Series II E-type 4.2 Roadster" is offered for sale with photographic restoration record and MOT certificate valid until August 2006 - one for the connoisseur.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
