This car has been in the one owners hands in Central Victoria since 1982 and has travelled only 27,000 miles in his 25 years of stewardship.

In that time apart from being sparingly used, it has always been dry garaged and maintained as necessary.

The E Type has been re-painted to the original colour and is in good order.

The Black Interior is also in used but in very acceptable condition.

A very good example of the Marque, this hard to find model will be delivered to the fortunate purchaser with Vic RWC and Reg.

9 July 2011. Advertised on carsales.com.au. Quote: "Head turning stunning light blue roadster with brand new leather interior, boot trim and soft top. The most practical and reliable of the E-type Roadsters; 4.2, 6cyl with standard fitted twin thermo fans (no overheating issues). Easy to get to everything for maintenance and plenty of performance. This car is a good straight original RHD Australian delivered car with good chrome etc, but being an older restoration is car that can be enjoyed on a daily basis. Very strong mechanically with new interior, boot re-trim and a new soft top (using highest spec' modern OEM material). some guage surrounds and switches still require updating. Tyres and wheels are almost new, with the new chrome wires being 6" to fill out the guards. New fuel pump. The extremely attractive original Jaguar colour ("Cotwold Blue" - Ser1 & 1.5 / later changed to "Light Blue" on Ser2),"
9,576 klms (maybe a typographical error). Asking $99,500 (Australian Dollars)

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
