Devoted husband, father of four, and sports car enthusiast (in that order). I've been flatbedding my E-type across the country as it slowly works its way towards completion. Hopefully, Arlington, TX will be the place where it makes its first road appearance! I've also got a Porsche 356C under restoration. Both cars are slated for my oldest kids. The Jag goes to my son as soon as we get it finished, and the Porsche to my daughter in a couple years. Dad is still looking for "his" car. (email)Updated June 6th, 2004. The car is back on 4 wheels for the first time since 1971! We're getting nearer to the important blocking and painting stage. Can't wait!

Purchased the car from a junkyard in Clayton, Ohio in 1985. It was wearing 1971 registration. The yard had photos of it when it arrived. Bad front-end collision! It was so badly rusted from resting in the muck (even with relatively low miles) that I felt compelled to fib and say I was buying it for parts.
During teardown it was found to have been badly beaten up during its short two years on the road. The only panel NOT dented was the roof! The driver side door had been "impaled" at some point in time. Teenage driver?!?
During a prolonged rebuild, all the lower bodywork has been replaced and the car is now happily solid. It will be black with red interior soon.

Finally getting back to finishing this for my son. He sat aside 20K for goodies.
