Advertised on Carsales.com.au with asking price of $76,500 in October 2012. Evidently converted from LH to RH drive. Seller's comments follow: "This 4.2 liter 2-seater coupe has only covered very few miles since a major restoration from 1998-2003. The body condition is in excellent order with perfect shut lines and is structurally very sound with no rust. The chrome work is very good with quite a number of chrome parts exchanged just recently. As the car hasn't been driven a lot, it has been completely re-commissioned, which is all fully documented. The exterior is in the most sought after "Regency Red", plus for Summer joy a full length Weathershield sun roof is fitted. The old underseal has been removed in many parts to find a shiny rust free structure (photos available). Epoxy laquer has then been applies for better protection. The interior is finished in tan leather (seats and dash). The seats are nice and supple with no rips, tears or split seams. The other vinyl covered items are in very good condition - even the head lining is sag free and the carpets and carpet linings present as new. The 8-track period stereo is working fine, as are all the gauges even the electric clock. Heater valve controls are all spot on with new under dash shut controls. The chrome wire wheels are in excellent condition with nearly new tyres. Most rubber seals are new, as well as new retractable seat belts are fitted. All this makes this a really usable and very enjoyable classic. The car drives fantastically, holds the road extremely well with no rattles, groans or grinds. The engine sounds superb, has great oil pressure and fires up instantly. Stainless steel headers and a stainless steel exhaust system complete the picture of a very desirable Jaguar E-Type"
