Sellers description:
This car is offered as a project for total restoration. It is 95%+ complete. In addition to mechanical restoration the body paint and interior will require restoration. What you see is what you get.
The matching numbers engine and transmission were removed October 2013 and are not currently in the car but are included. They were removed from the car to facilitate restoration. At that time the engine ran well with 30-40 lbs oil pressure, and with almost no leaks. The transmission shifted up and down through the gears with no issues with the synchros.
The cooling system is complete except for the header tank, and the radiator did not leak at the time of removal, nor did the car overheat.
The rusted floors, rocker panels and sills were removed and from the rear bulkhead forward. The floor on the driver side is spot welded in place with SNG Barrett supplied floor and inner and outer sills and rocker panels. The passenger side is screwed in place for the photos but needs to be finished. The lower rear quarter panels behind the doors and wheel arches have bondo and presumably rusty and need repair. The rest of the body and paint while exhibiting scratches and repair of dings generally straight and is need complete restoration.
The remaining upholstery rear of the seats is original. The headliner and visors are in good condition.
The Chrome, glass, and exterior body fittings are complete and in good condition. The door windows and mechanisms work as do the door latches and handles.
