    Car returns to ebay 11/11/20

    www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-XKE/324369129634

Opening bid $42,500 reserve not met no bids 9 days left in auction buy it now price $68,500, seller jpfrazier4211, 23k miles, car now said to be in Lebanon, Tennessee, previously Huntsville, Alabama.

    Seller's description:

Seldom do we come across such a well documented well sorted, near perfect driving XKE COUPE. If you are a Jaguar enthusiast pay attention! As my local Jaguar Whisperer states-"if they sit in the drivers seat and drive this car, they will want it. This may have just described myself and my actions. When they are good they are GREAT! This is that example. The car belonged to a retired Captain in the Navy, as retired ranking officers go they work to assure all is in in order and done correct. The speedometer reads 23314 miles. We had to really dig to discern if this is the original miles. Everything about the drivability and the cosmetics could support original miles. All the stickers are in place, the normal switches, tabs, decals, dash pad, a/c vents, seats, door cards, leather, console, shift boot, gauges, body panel fit, chrome..... ALL ARE IN SUPERB condition. Can you tell I like this example?

Great driving car. The car does everything one would expect from a well sorted XKE,this car drives the way they were designed to drive. High oil pressure, cool running engine, tight suspension, good brakes, tight, transmission, good clutch. Rubber seals are all soft and supple. Chrome is without flaw, paint is excellent. We have a two inch file of service records and receipts and spread sheet of all that has been looked after on the car. Heritage Certificate comes with car. Working Air Conditioning.

Forget about price, let your heart sing. I have sold many E Type cars for much more that would need thousands invested in them to achieve what this car has to offer. The car is in our indoor facility 25 miles east of downtown Nashville Tn.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
