In 1968 it was first delivered to the U.S.A., where this Jaguar E-Type remained until 1988, at first in Illinois and then in Chicago. When it was imported to Germany in 1988 it had made 56,581 miles and was in a partly restored condition. Up until today its current owner had it always inspected by authorized Jaguar service centers. Over the course of time the entire electricity, the brake system and the engine were overhauled. Comprehensive documentation thereof is at hand. The original manual is also still in existence. The last vehicle inspection was made in March 2015 and is valid until 2017.
