This 1969 Jaguar XKE is a Series II coupe that is said to have remained with the same owner in Michigan from 1982 to 2023, when it was acquired by the selling dealer and relocated to Ohio. The car is finished in brown over black leather and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Further equipment includes dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and chrome bumpers with overriders as well as a Trackstar wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo, and a heater. Work in preparation for the sale has involved installing replacement tires as well as changing the engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid. This XKE is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with a knock-off tool and a clean Ohio title.
The car was repainted in its current shade of brown under previous ownership and features a louvered clamshell hood as well as chrome bumpers with overriders. A heated rear window, pop-out rear quarter windows, and dual exhaust outlets are additional details. Stone chips and other blemishes can be seen.
Chrome 15” wire wheels are secured by three-eared knock-offs and mounted with 185-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that are said to have been fitted in August 2023. A spare stored under the trunk floor is fitted with a 135-series Michelin Radial tire. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear units. The brake fluid is said to have been changed in preparation for the sale.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather and accompanied by three-point seatbelts. A Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo is linked to console-mounted speakers, and additional appointments include a heater, a lockable glove compartment, and Jaguar-branded rubber floor mats.
A Trackstar wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and tachometer, while supplemental gauges are mounted in the center stack along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was factory-rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. The engine oil and coolant were changed in August 2023, per the selling dealer.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
