cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $2,094.69 (Reserve not met), 9 bids, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Being offered here for auction is a 1969 XKE Coupe, Primrose with Black, a true Coupe. The body of this car is incredibly straight, the battery box area, rockers, floors and trunk are all original, have never been replaced and all are in excellent condition. The upholstery and dash are in excellent condition. The car has excellent oil pressure. It runs and drives well, the gear box is very smooth. The cylinder head has a little noisy when cold, after it has run for a a minute or 2 it is quiet. The chrome is good not perfect. The paint is older but, presentable and has a shine. There is a smal crack in the steering wheel. The tires are in good shape. The miles have gone over.

It is rare to find an XKE with no rust, this car is as good as it gets. It is a real head turner that can be driven and enjoyed. It can be painted down the road and you will have no suprises with the condition of the body when you do.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
