Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-Type Ser II 4.2L Coupe. Beautiful.....unbelievably low miles. Garaged in Florida for 20 Years. I have spend 14 years in making this vehicle nice but now the wife says it has to go. Prestine reupholtery done last year. Engine rebuilt. Only 1,937 E-types were sold in 1969 when Joe Namath and the Jets won Super Bowl 3. This was the 1,739th sold that year. Full records and manuals. All matching ser#. I am only the 2nd owner of the car. The original owner died in the vietnam war and the car was then stored by his family in a warehouse in Florida. I am in the car business and put out feelers for a nice E-type that I could restore. After searching for a year, I found this vehicle waiting just for me across the country.

Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States and registered TTU756H in July 2016. Sold by Bure Valley Classics of Buxton with Lamas in July 2021. Seller's description below.

This handsome example of the 4.2 litre fixed head coupe benefits from a series of renovation works and selected upgrades to get the car into the superb shape it is in now. The heritage certificate confirms the car is matching numbers and was dispatched to the US in September 1969. We have the original bill of sale from Capitol Motors in Maryland and also the original warranty details and first service records. The original owner was in the US Navy and served in Vietnam where sadly he lost his life. His parents in their grief put his car into storage where it stayed for 28 years! The second owner purchased the car from the family in 1997 and spent 18 years working on and enjoying the car, including changing the colour from silver to red.
In the last 52 years the E Type has had just 3 owners! The last of which spent many happy hours working on the car. The car now drives superbly with everything working as it should. It had a full engine rebuild 2000 miles ago, gearbox rebuilt, all new front frames, triple SU carbs upgrade, all new leather upholstery, new stainless steel exhaust system, Series 1 centre dash and console fitted, new engine bay wiring loom and wiring upgraded, electronic ignition, high torque starter motor, new tyres, new front discs, new shock absorbers, new front suspension and steering joints. The mileage of 46,000 is believed correct. The car has no rust and is completely solid. If you are looking for a perfectly usable Series 2 which has had all the work done, this is it.
