1970 JAGUAR E-TYPE, XKE Beautiful & original example, Series II FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) (rarer 2 seater, not 2+2); Mfd Dec 1969; Silver Ext, Black Int; 71,252 orig mi; 4-spd manual, 6 Cyl 4.2L eng with orig dual Stromberg Zenith carbs; orig wire wheels on Pirelli P5s; good overall cond, numbers match, one family owner since 1987; driven for a year, and then maintained in clean, non-operational, dry storage in southern California since 1988 (does not run, mechanic speculated that it threw rod but unknown, stored for 15 yrs awaiting eng repair or rebuild). Recently ran charge through battery, and lights and electrics appeared in general working order, including fuel pump priming sound in 2nd ignition position, but engine does not turn over. THE JAGUAR IS HAVING THE MOTOR COMPLETELY OVERHAULED BY OUR SHOP AND WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING DONE: NEW PISTONS, TIMING CHAINS, TENSIONERS, RAILS , AND NEW OIL PUMP. THE MOTOR WAS LINE BORED AND COMPLETELY BALANCED WITHIN 1 GRAM. THE CYL HEAD WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT. THE CARBS HAVE ALSO BEEN DONE. THE RADIATOR WAS RODED OUT. ALL NEW COOLING HOSES AND THEMOSTAT WILL BE REPLACED. THE CHROME IS IN GREAT SHAPE ALONG WITH THE GLASS. THE PAINT IS VERY NICE FOR BEING 18 YEARS OLD,AND THE NTERIOR IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION INCLUDING THE CARPETS. THIS CAR ALSO HAS FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING.

TWO SMALL DIMPLES IN THE BONNET. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR SOME DINGS HERE AND THERE. OVERALL A NICE CAR FOR 33 YEARS OF AGE.
