Ebay item 3/19/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-E-Type-E-type-XKE-Fixed-Head-Coupe-2-seater/1136908 ...
Car has a buy it now price of $21,500 for 29 days, seller faunlimited1, 100k miles.
Seller's description:
1969 Jaguar XKE FHC 4.2L
This car has recently been pulled from long term storage, It had been under long term ownership for over 20 years.
This car was a daily driver until the car was replaced with a 2+2 automatic which the owner preferred over this one So there it sat until now
It is a pretty original car overall, it has not been patched up over the years and retains its original metal and floors, but it does have some rust on the front floors the engine is most likely a dealer replacement as there is no stamp on it, it has a nice tri carb setup present. I do not know the status of the engine, allthough it was running prior to indoor storage.
The interior appears to be suede green, and is worn and in need of restoration as is the rest of the car. Overall an excellent candidate at a reasonable price, to restore.
