Hey there XKE lovers here is an absolutely beautiful series 2 coupe in superb southwest original condition. If you have owned xke's and are knowledgable about them then you already know that the series 2 cars are the best driving, most useable E types of them all. I am hoping to find a buyer that is tired of his overheated ,series one or their won't stay running series three . This particular car is in incredible unrestored condition and aside from its recent 5000 dollar repaint ,new exhaust ,carb overhaul,gas tank cleaning,relay replacements,window rubbers replaced etc service it is a time warp car. I bought this car about 3 years ago from a doctor that had recently moved to south texas from el paso texas and he said that he had purchased this car in california several years ago the car was in excellent unmolested non rusted condition and had been repainted once in the original primrose yellow but the paint was cracked. I deciced that I would just drive it that way but like all car nuts I couldn't leave well enough alone so I disassembled the entire exterior and removed all paint completely from the car along withh the windshield and back glass etc. then I took it to our best painter and I had him repaint it in the original color . It looks awesome I also at that time replaced all bulbs that were out ,replaced the turn sig nal switch, all relays ,and basically went through every system on the car ,EVERYTHING WORKS !!! I think right down to the interior lamps! et.c The trunk floor and the front floors were and are excellent,the seats are totally original and they are excellent except I am missing the headrests, IT has the orig shift knob ,dash , door panels carprt,etc again I have rarely if ever seen an original in much better shape. This car shifts perfect,the clutch and brakes work better than any E Type I have ever had !! and I have had so many that I have quit counting. This car is a DAILY DRIVER and it doesn't overheat or refuse to start or drain the battery etc ,NO PROBLEMS please try to imagine this in an xke!!! I probably have way more money in this car than it is going to bring but I think that the coupes are the best looking jags and that is what I like.If this was a roadster I am sure that it would bring over 30,000 dollars but it is not so I am hoping for the best if you are seriously in the market do not miss this car . THis car has factory AIR CONDITIONING !!!!!

again as described ,excellent original with factory interior excellent, FLY IN DRIVE HOME !!! NEW michelin tires ,belts hoses battery exhaust,all systems checked etc from good home FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING
