Advertised on carsales.com.au on 21 January 2021, asking AU$95,000. Car is for sale through a dealer in Victoria. Advertisement (edited) reads as follows:

    1969 Jaguar E-type Car Number: 1R35119BW, Engine Number: 7R35883-9

This E-type 2+2 was despatched from the factory on 3rd February 1969 for delivery to Australia. The original 'Periodic Maintenance Book' confirms that it was delivered to a Tasmanian buyer, 'Coombend Estate Pty Ltd' in Swansea on 2nd May 1969. According to the accompanying Heritage Trust Certificate it was originally finished in Warwick Grey with grey trim, however is now finished in Signal Red with black interior. (Note: At the date of this advertisement the Original Warwick Grey colour appears to remain on firewall and front frames as seen in some of the January 2021 photos.)

This E-type had three owners from new prior to being purchased by the last owner in February 2017 as an addition to his private collection. This collector then embarked on a refurbishment program. A receipt file accompanying the car details approximately $38,000 of maintenance, repair and restoration work undertaken. Most of the work was carried out by independent Jaguar specialists V&A Spiteri of Blackburn North, Victoria, being Completed in Late 2017. Since that time the E-type has Travelled less than 1,000 miles.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
