The Jaguar 'E' type 2+2 is a most practical family sports car and this 1969 example is the automatic version with the 4200 cc engine.
The car is painted in Red with Black trim and has had only three owners from new and the car is being sold today by the present owner - the third - only due to lack of garage space and it is a most reluctant sale. He purchased the car in 1989 and since then the car has had all new brakes and steering, new tyres, some recent back axle work and the car has always been garaged. The car has its original radio, wire wheels, a full sliding sunroof and over the years has given great service as he is sure it will to the new owner.
The car has a current M.O.T. certificate until June next year and it is of course exempt from road fund duty. This is a true thoroubred sports car and in todays market they are extremely good value indeed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
