Ebay item 9/18/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $2,500, 17 bids, 1 day left in auction.

Sellers description:
This car has had only 2-owners. Purchased in 1972 by the second owner & having only 30,000 original miles. This car was his pride and joy and was kept garaged always and very well maintained. He drove this car for another 40,000 miles and started a Frame Up Restoration 8 years ago. The Restoration was 98% complete just needing the Original Black Leather interior re-installed when the garage which has housed this car for 36-years was collapsed from a mud slide due to torrential downpour in January 2006. 30+ years, 40,000 miles, and a Grip of Money Later the Second owner has not the Heart to start this love affair all over again and just wants to move on.

TRY TO OVERLOOK THE OBVIOUS DAMAGE & APPRECIATE WHAT THIS LITTLE CAR HAS TO OFFER!!!

The second owner spared no cost on this project and planned on keeping this car forever. The car was forever the wife was not.

All and any damages seen in the pictures are from the mud slide incident, the car appears to have no Chassis or Power Train Damage, the restoration records are included in this auction and totals thousands of dollars and 8 years of hard work. There are no seats included in this auction, what you see is what you get!!!

This car was started recently and runs fine, and appears to have no apparent major problems with the power train. All of the powetrain is in original running condition. The title & numbers all match. The floor pan has been undercoated, and all of the restoration work was done by a professional custom car fabricator. This car is clean and what parts are here are all in very good condition to New condition.

I purchased this car on 10/07/06. I am using the parts to convert my 68 2+2 automatic to a manual. The car was not any where near 98% restored. The exterior was painted but that was about it.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
