www.ebay.com/itm/144284037177
Car has a buy it now price of $95,000 for 29 days, seller dmonterey, 67k miles.

Seller's description:
1969 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES II 2+2 COUPE

NEVER DRIVEN ON THE ROAD 29 MILES SINCE REBUILT -
67,xxx ORIGINAL DOCUMENTED MILES
EVERYTHING BRAND NEW, WELL OVER 100K SPENT -
MATCHING NUMBERS -

Brief History -
For sale is a beautiful 1969 Jaguar E-TYPE SERIES II 2+2 COUPE. This original CA Jaguar has had only two owners in the past. It was purchased by a farmer in Madera who owned it up until the mid 80s when he sold it to his friend in Fresno, CA. It was owned by him up until recently when he sold the vehicle to us. The previous owner had a collection of cars that he had restored through the years. He would spend so much money on each one and never drive it! This Jaguar was his pride and joy. He restored the car completely in 2018. Every nut and bolt was replaced or redone. Everything on the car is either new or rebuilt like new. From top to bottom. It was never driven on the road or even registered. 29 Miles is a generous estimate of how much it was driven. Everything is documented very well. The true mileage of the vehicle is 67,xxx.

PAINT & INTERIOR
The vehicle is beautiful inside and out. The exterior is finished in Opalescent Silver Blue Metallic metallic with a beautiful gray OE material interior. The paint was from TCP Global in San Diego, CA. The interior came out of Heritage Upholstery & Trim in Palm Springs, CA they had to special order the material from their Canada location . The work was done in 2018. It is all brand new. From seat belts, carpet, seats, everything inside is new. Seat belts came from Retro belt classics.

The car was completely taken apart and painted. It's not a concourse level paint job, but still very nice.

ENGINE # : 7R35590-9
AUTO TRANS # : 29624
BODY # : 4R35455
CAR # : 1R40362BW

This Jaguar has its original numbers matching 4.2L inline-six paired with an automatic transmission. The engine and transmission have been 100% rebuilt. Everything is brand new and hasn't even been broken in. All parts came from XKS UNLIMITED. OVER 100 PAGES OF RECORDS JUST FROM THIS PLACE. EVERYTHING IS NEW. The wiring is all new, suspension, brakes, EVERYTHING . He even paid extra for an updated A/C Unit. Not to mention all the other accessories he added. Underneath everything is also brand new. Stainless steel exhaust. The car has been fully insulated with this product called Koolmat. This is a NASA grade insulator which keeps the heat of the car on the first layer allowing the second layer to stay cool. Also the doors become sound proof. There is a whole documentation about this process in the video. This cost him around 10K alone to buy..

JAGUAR HERITAGE
The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate shows a build date of NOV 8, 1968 and confirms the factory chassis, engine, and body numbers.

DOCUMENTIONS
ALL RECORDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR EVERYTHING I HAVE MENTIONED. I HAVE FOLDERS OF PAPERS WITH PAST AND CURRENT RECORDS. OLD REGISTRATIONS OF THE BOTH OWNERS.

WHAT IS NEEDED
This jaguar has been sitting since 2018, we have checked the fluids and had it fire up for the first time in quite a while. Keep in mind this car is literally all new, it hasn't even been broken in. She will still need some final touches or adjustments before getting on the road.

Opening bid $75,000 reserve not met 0 bids buy it now price $85,000, 9 days left in auction, seller chrisgrao, car now in Stuart, Florida, 62k miles, previously Pebble Beach, California.

Seller's description:

This 1969 Jaguar E-Type XK-E is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for car shows.

The previous owner, a CA rancher, rebuilt car- spared no expense- replaced every nut and bolt, from 2016-2018. I have all records. Having sound deadening and insulation as well, and many upgrades. however, he never drove them- only stored them in his collection. When I got the car 6 months ago- it was 97% there but it appeared no one ever went through the car to insure all systems were synched together n operated as a Jaguar E-Type should. He spent close to $100K- look at the pics.

I ran through all systems from tank to the front, tuned etc, as car ran rough tho. Number 5 cylinder was low on compression so I gave the car a whole new valve job- original head, see photos. Suspension received a new improved higher teeth rack and pinion. This work was done by Heritage program at Jaguar Palm Beach. Electricals, AC, n more ran through. Over $10k. All cylinders read 150.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
