Ebay item 8/25/14 www.ebay.com/itm/281420127266
Opening bid $10,000, no reserve, no bids 3 days left in auction. 85k miles.
Sellers description:
This jag was put in storage back in 1989. It was running when put to storage. It was put into storage because it had an oil leak. There is a hole in the body where the battery goes it appears the acid form the battery leaked out and ate a hole there. Body pretty clean a small dent in the hood shown in the pictures.
body is 4r3550 vin is 1r40437
I tried to start it but the motor seems froze from sitting. I think the motor will have to come apart. The clutch pedal was hard to push and stayed depressed.
The body is clean and no damage all seems to be original. I HAVE INSPECTED THIS CAR TODAY AND FOUND IT HAS MORE RUST THAN PREVIOUSLY STATED. FLOOR PANS CLEAN BUT THERE IS RUST IN OTHER AREAS I WILL TRY O POST PICTURES OF IT TODAY.
This is a great car for a restoration project. The floor pans are clean with no holes. I see other jags on here that appear to be rust buckets. This is clean.----It is a clear pink slip from California and a non op was put on it when it went into storage and all fees were current when it went into storage 25 years ago
It has 85000 miles on it. All the glass looks like new. I just put tires and tubes on it so it can roll.

Car returns to ebay 3/16/16 www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/152016904337
Current bid US $10,100 reserve not met 9 bids 6 days left in auction. Seller jaguarlane, car now said to be in Austin, Texas, 85k miles.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 4sp, with air conditioning. 85k Very complete car. Clear California title. NEEDS FULL RESTORATION. I bought the car in September 2014 with the intention of parting it out for other projects. The car really deserves to be restored. Car was garaged in 1989 running with an oil leak according to the previous owner. According to the previous owner the motor does not turn. I have not tried. Originally Dark Blue exterior with grey interior. Front seats were recover cheaply at some point. Rear seat still in leather. The car does have rust. The bonnet will need a new belly pan for an easy fix. Both outer sills need to be replaced, it appears an attempted repair with bondo and fiberglass was done when the car was last painted. Both rear wheel opens are rusted behind the tires. Rear pan is ok but has surface rust so it is probable thin. Floors are very nice, all original. The only repair need on the floors it where the inter sills and the floor meet. This area will require repair once the outer sills are removed. Drivers door is very usable. Passenger door will require rust repair on the lower exterior portion and the underside. The passenger door was repaired previously on the underside with bondo and/or fiberglass when the car was last painted.
