Ebay item 3/3/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-xke-2-2-1969-e-type-2-2-4-2-series-ii-straight-bo ...
Opening bid $21,000.00
Reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction. 75k miles.
Sellers description:
This 1969 E-Type 2+2 4.2 Series II, has been owned by one family since the day it came off the assembly line in United Kingdom.
My father purchased it for my mother in 1968 on one of our trips to UK. It's lived it's life in Hawaii, Southern California & now Maryland. Each place it has been housed in a garage. I have had it for the past 20 years. Pictures show all the paperwork for purchase & shipment of Jaguar from UK to Honolulu, Hawaii.
My dream is that my jaguar is purchased by a person that will appreciate the beauty and responsibility of a 1969 Jaguar xke. The reason for me choosing to sell, is that we are planning to move back to Hawaii and I unfortunately can't see this car going back to Hawaii as much as I love it as I know it will not be able to be driven the way it should. So looking for the next owner to finish the restoration as we would have done if we decided to keep it and DRIVE IT!!!
