Also own a 1969 2+2, Pale Primrose, live just down the road (M-59) in Hartland. Looking for a 1961 to 1967 Roadster do you know of anyone who has one for sale.

Sellers description:
Very nice XKE at no reserve to achieve a quick sale. I encourage any one who is interested to come and see this beautiful car or send an experienced Jag person to check it out for you.
I have owned this car for about 12 years. I got it from Steve's British Connection in Chicago on a trade. It was a basket case that someone had installed new outer rocker panels on and then lost interest. It is a very solid car that still has it's original floors. There is patch work about 2 inches wide between the floor and the outer rockers on both sides. It is rock solid and has held up for 12 years. I have picked up this car on the jacking points hundreds of times with no issues. I finished the underside with POR 15 and it still looks great. The car was repainted last June, (after I pulled it out of the garage and put a 2 foot long scratch down the side) the work was done by Westchester Classic Cars in Danbury CT. No body work was required however, the bill was over $16,000. They did a beautiful job, thank you Haggerty Insurance. The pictures speak for themselves. The bumpers are presentable but need to be rechromed to be perfect. The rest of the chrome is nice. During the restoration I came across a 4.2 E-Type triple carb manifold, so I grabbed it. I could not afford SU's at the time so I rebuilt some stromberg's (I had boxes of those) and used them. I was so happy with the way the car ran I never bothered to find some SU's for it. I did not put the rear seat back in the car, I built a small storage area instead. This is a numbers matching car. You can drive this car anywhere. This is a very nice car. It is not a level 1 Barret Jackson car. It did win a trophy in Prospect CT last summer at a show with over 650 cars.
