Current bid $2,025 reserve not met, 3 bids 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $8,599. Car now said to be in Kingston, Pennsylvania.
The car is perfectly rust free. Floors, doors, rockers and all! The greatest challenge in any restoration is dealing with the rust! In this case, your worries are over......Also, there are some extra parts and some of them are new. Very original and it seems that all the parts are here and in good condition. Actually, there are some extra parts the PO gave us and we'll pass 'em on to you.
The seats are pretty nice and a little dye & leather food will make them like new. All the gauges and switches are present and I see no reason why they shouldn't all work. We have all the padding, door panels, carpet and so on!
The body looks very straight and I couldn't find any signs of major damage, now or in the past.
The original 4.2 liter motor turns over freely and I don't think it would be too much of a challenge to get it running. The brakes do not operate as the master cylinder isn't installed. Electrically, you'll have to re-wire the front of the car (under hood) but that is childs play: the wiring harness is more than simple and comes with the car!
