Sellers description:
I am offering up my 1969 E-Type Series II Jaguar 2+2 Coupe.
All Matching Numbers!
British Racing Green with a Camel leather interior. This car was restored some time ago and is beautiful! The only reason that I am selling this is to pursue another vehicle that has caught my attention and I can't have two!
The condition of this car is impeccable. The paint is excellent with a beautiful shine. There is only one spot with a slight scratch behind the driver’s side door that can be repaired at minimal expense. The pictures don't even show it. If you are interested I can send you a picture of it but as I said it doesn't really even appear.
To my knowledge this car has never been wrecked, or show signs of any sort of damage. There are no signs of rust or bodywork as I have been over the entire car with a magnet and a fine toothed comb!
This is a very drivable car. There is no white smoke or signs of oil burning. Although all Jags leak this car doesn't have any significant leaks to speak of. There is one small spot underneath where it coagulates but it does not drip on to the floor.
There is no “tire wobble”, the alignment is dead on and tight. The steering is very responsive.
Brakes work great.
Shifts like a dream.
Clutch is great, with many more miles remaining on it.
Carburetors are in tune.
Includes the original tool kit.
I have had the following things done to the vehicle within the last few months:
1.) Compression check - Everything is well within specifications.
2.) Overall pre-purchase inspection before I bought it. Everything checked out.
3.) Replaced Air Filter with K&N Free Flow Filter
4.) Oil change & complete Lube/Grease
a. Still has the original oil filter/element style mechanism.
5.) Replaced all cooling hoses & pipes
a. Flushed radiator
6.) Flushed and replaced Gear Box fluid for smoother shifting.
7.) Other minor repairs:
a. Replacing fuses, Flasher, relays etc.. (You know, Lucas Electronics!)
8.) Replaced Radiator cooling fans for extra cooling power. (Previous Owner)
a. It has never overheated for me, and I drive it quite frequently.
9.) Adjusted Idle.
Everything on this car works with the exception of:
1.) The horn (Needs a new switch)
2.) The heater (Needs a new element)
3.) One front bottom yellow flasher light. (Don’t know?)
The Power antenna even works!
The “red wall” tires are in great condition and probably have another 20-30K miles left on them. The wire wheels are brilliantly shiny with virtually no “chrome” spots.
There are no tears or significant wear on any of the interior. There is a slight “wear” spot on the driver’s seat where you brush against to get in and out but it is not a tear or even thin leather. It just needs a little dye.
Everything about this car is beautiful and original except the Blaupunkt CD player/Stereo. It has such a luster and awesome appearance. It truly drives EXCELLENT!!!
This is about as nice of a driver as you will find without stepping up to a concourse car. (It wouldn’t take much to make this one however).
The odometer reads ~18,900 miles. I have a previous “Bill of Sale” from a dealership and previous owners certifying that this is accurate a few hundred miles ago.
As with most antique cars this one is sold with a notarized “Bill of Sale”. I have some records but mostly recent history for the car. Included are the last three “Bill of Sale” records.
I have tried to depict this car as accurately as possible. I will be happy to answer any additional questions.
You won’t find a cleaner, nicer, more reliable car for the money. I have set a very reasonable reserve price for this car.

Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE for auction. I have owned the Jag for 3 years. This is an absolutely beautiful car for a classic collector or Jaguar enthusiast. The paint is excellent with a beautiful shine. There are 3 chip spots behind the driver door, this can be seen in a close up photo. The interior is very clean. There are no tears or significant wear on any of the leather. The driver side floor is the only carpeted area that shows wear. Everything about this car is original except for the CD player/stereo. To my knowledge this car has never been wrecked, nor does it show any signs of collision. The bonnet sets true to the frame. The steering and suspension are tight. As with all older Jaguars you should expect a small amount of oil leak and this car is no exception. The carburetors are in tune. I can provide maintenance records/receipts for my ownership and previous. This model has such luster and amazing appearance. It truly drives EXCELLENT!!!
