I was offered this vehicle to purchase for $5990.00 in May 03. Owner was very firm on price and not willing to come down on price due to having 3 others from other countries ready to purchase. I chose not to buy due to RUST that is lurking below shiny paint. Too expensive for me to mess with and would take decades to get my money back. This will make someone a nice project car. Just not this someone!

NICE 1969 JAGUAR XKE. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN A SOUTHERN STATE FOR MANY YEARS AND IS VERY SOLID. THE BODY. FLOORS, FRAME,AND TRUNK AREA ARE ALL SOLID. PAINT IS IN GOOD SHAPE. DOES HAVE A SLIGHT DENT IN THE CENTER OF THE HOOD SCOOP. BALANCE OF CAR IS STRAIGHT AND DENT FREE.
THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. SEATS HAVE NO RIPS. CARPET IS IN GOOD SHAPE. HEADLINER IN IN GOOD SHAPE. WINDSHIELD DOES HAVE A CRACK IN IT. BALANCE OF GLASS IS GOOD. CHROME IS IN VERY NICE SHAPE. CAR HAS CHROME WIRE WHEELS.
MECHANICALLY THE CAR HAS THE ORIGINAL MATCHING ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION IN IT. IT RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL. BRAKES ARE GOOD. SHIFTS VERY WELL. EVERYTHING WORKS ON THE CAR. TIRES ARE TWO YEARS OLD. HAVE SOME RECEIPTS OF WORK DONE ON THE CAR.
