Current bid $6,700 reserve not met, 11 bids 3 days left in auction. Buy it now price $15,000. Complete VIN on this car J691R41678BW.

Sellers description:
This car is a steal! You are bidding on a 1969 Jaguar XKE. It is in good condition. The car was being restored by my father before he died in 1999. In 1998, the car was repainted and the wire wheels rechromed. The car runs, but has not been started since garaged in 1999. The Jaguar has no rust, the interior is in good shape but needs a little work. All windows are intact. Take a look at the pictures! This would make a great restoration project.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
