Sellers description:
Unrestored 1969 Jaguar 2+2 coupe with automatic transmission.
The VIN is 1R 41823 BW.

We purchased this car in September of 2010 from its second owner, who had owned the car since December 20, 1971.

The Heritage Certificate from JDHT indicates that the car was picked up in Coventry by the original owner for Personal Export Delivery on May 30, 1969, and registered in the UK with the registration number URW 276 G. The certificate also provides the original owner's name and home town. The odometer currently shows close to 22,000 miles; which is thought to be correct since the 1982 inspection sticker shows a mileage of 21,571. At the time of our acquiring the car it had been in inside storage and off the road since 1982. In order to get the car to it's present very good running and driving condition we have:

1. Replaced brake master cylinder and flexible brake lines.
2. Replaced brake booster.
3. Replaced fuel pump.
4. Had gas tank professionally reconditioned.
5. Had carbs rebuilt.
6. Replaced complete exhaust system with new.
7. Replaced all four tires with new.
8. Had the automatic transmission professionally serviced.
9. Replaced the coil, points & condenser, spark plugs, and
high tension leads

The body on this car is solid and it runs and drives well. The car is
originally silver and has had one repaint in the original color which
is adequate but certainly not perfect. The original red interior is in
very good condition, and has responded well to redyeing to bring it back to it's original color. This car is currently licensed and insured.
This a great driver for the enthusiast who is truly interested in driving
and using a classic car on a regular basis.
